Janet Brewer and Marius Slabbert run the Karoo Saloon R62 Rock Roadhouse 15 kilometres outside of Barrydale in the direction of Montagu , and it is fast becoming the Karoo's best Rock Music Venue.
The accommodation consists of comfortable Motel like en-suite rooms , a bunkhouse and also “camping on the lawn “ which perfectly complements the increasing number of week-end music events on the new out door stage and the cosy indoor one.
The restaurant menu currently includes Springbok pot pies , bobotie , Lasagne and Pizzas and is famous for it's bacon and egg rolls .
