Let's Clean Barrydale

In support of Barrydale in Bloom, the Let's Clean Barrydale team needs YOU

From October 18th- to 20th, Barrydale is opening its gardens to visitors from near and far!

We will be showcasing Barrydale in Bloom - a celebration of our stunning local gardens and the vibrant community we cherish.

This time, the Let's Clean Barrydale team is joining up with the Barrydale in Bloom team as well as the BIGGEST teams, being Barrydale and Smitsville for one huge effort.

Let’s clean Barrydale this for US!
We hope to get EVERY house in the total community of both Barrydale and Smitsville to join us on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 14:00
for one hour of serious clean up.
Let's Clean every street in Barrydale Each one do one!

What do we ask?
1. One team made up of volunteers to clean up the R62 and Tennant Street. (The front door to Barrydale)
2. One team to clean up from BF Oosthuizen to cnr of Van Riebeeck Street. (The front door of Smitsville)
3. Every resident in our total village to clean up in front of your house and your street.

Arrangements:

- Let's Clean Barrydale Volunteers for R62 & Tennant meet at The Dung Beetle at 14:00,
- Let's Clean Barrydale volunteers for Tinley will meet at the BF Oosthuizen Primary School gates at 14:00.

For these groups we will supply:

- Black Bags
- Pokers
- A Bakkie on standby
- Skips for full black bags
- Gloves
- A Snake Catcher on call.

We ask that the rest of the village use their free municipal bags to join the effort by clearing up your immediate vicinity.

All full black bags can be placed in front of your house or at the street corner for collection.

Let’s join hands to make Barrydale shine and show everyone the charm of our clean, inviting streets!
