Kamala Karoo Sanctuary is the vision and dream of owner Terry de Vries. It offers an intimate retreat space where people can rest, heal, refresh, recuperate, rejuvenate and simply be in the beauty and tranquility of nature. You are invited to go nowhere slowly, experience the timelessness of country living, 'stoepsit' admiring the beautiful garden, breathe in the fresh Klein Karoo air and gaze at the Milky Way at night.

This magical venue is ideal for bespoke private retreats, wellness or team building events, and can be used to host or facilitate your own retreats. In between the diarized retreats we welcome those looking to recharge and reconnect to enjoy the labyrinth, outdoor infrared sauna with outside shower, saltwater pool, fire pit, yoga studio and soul library on this nearly 5500 square meter property.

Visitors can exhale, sit still and just be. The beautiful garden, birdlife, deep silence of the land and simple luxurious interior welcome you home and anyone visiting Kamala Karoo Sanctuary will leave with a joyous spirit.
