Over Karoo Inn

Over Karoo Inn is situated in Barrydale on the popular Route 62 which stretches between Cape Town, Oudtshoorn, the Garden Route and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).

Here, on the border of the Overberg and the Klein Karoo, you can enjoy the fresh mountain air, the peace and quiet, being woken up by birdsong and roosters instead of an alarm clock.

Over Karoo Inn has two rooms with queen-size beds each and a third room suitable for a family with a queen-size bed and 2 single beds.

We offer cosy, comfortable guest rooms in a unique Vintage style with hand-painted furniture. Each room has a private bathroom with shower. Private entrance, patio and braai facilities.

For a good night's sleep we have extra long beds with crisp cotton sheets and an electric blanket for winter nights. Have a sherry on the patio, before going to bed while enjoying the stars in the Karoo. Have a coffee on your patio while listening to birdsong in the morning.

Rooms have a seating area with table and chairs and are equipped with a small fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery and glassware.

Emergency lights and cell phone chargers are available in case of load shedding.

Free Wi-fi is available, as well as safe off the street parking.

The guest house is situated within walking distance to shops and restaurants in town, as well as hiking trails, cycling routes and all that Barrydale has to offer.
